Refund Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

We want you to be happy with DropMaps. If a paid plan isn’t right for you, you can get your money back.

14-day money-back guarantee

You can request a full refund within 14 days of any payment for a DropMaps subscription: Pro, Team or a storage pack, including renewals. You don’t need to give a reason.

Pro and Team start with a 14-day free trial. You aren’t charged during the trial, and if you cancel before it ends you won’t be charged at all. The 14-day refund window starts from your first payment after the trial.

How to request a refund

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles refunds. To request one:

  • visit paddle.net and look up your purchase, or use the link in the receipt email Paddle sent you; or
  • contact us and we’ll arrange it with Paddle for you.

Refunds go back to your original payment method. Paddle usually processes them within a few days; how long the money takes to reach your account depends on your bank or card provider.

What happens after a refund

A full refund ends that subscription straight away, and your account returns to the Free plan with its 100 MB of cloud storage. Your maps are not deleted straight away: if you have more than the free allowance in the cloud, you have 30 days to download it or bring your usage under the limit (see Maps & cloud sync). Refunding a storage pack removes that pack’s extra storage.

After 14 days

You can cancel any time from your account to stop future payments. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for, and you keep your plan until then. Past the 14-day window, we may still refund at our discretion, for example if a technical problem on our side stopped you using the Service.

We may refuse a refund where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse or other manipulative behaviour.

Your legal rights

This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you have under the law where you live, including the Australian Consumer Law and the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers in the UK and EU. See also Paddle’s buyer terms.
