    How to do it

    1. Export the .gpx file from your GPS device, watch or app.
    2. Drop your GPX file into the box above — or click “choose a file” to pick it from your device.
    3. Click “Open in DropMaps”. DropMaps opens in a new tab with your file already on the map.
    4. Your tracks and waypoints appear on the map. Click any of them to see their details.

    Questions

    Can I measure the track?

Yes. Use the measure tool to check distances and areas on the map.

Can I save it as a different format?

Yes — you can save it as KML for Google Earth, as GeoJSON, as a shapefile and more. See the GPX to KML converter.

    Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The file is opened right in your browser, on your own computer. Nothing is sent to us unless you choose to save the map to a DropMaps account.

    Is it really free?

Yes. Opening, viewing, editing and exporting files is free, with no signup needed. An account is only needed if you want to save maps to the cloud or share them with a link.
